Assist with administration, coordination, budget monitoring, communication, and support of grant activities and peer mentoring programs.
Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years administrative or grant management experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with federal grants and student information systems preferred.
Description: • Assist with administration and coordination of activities associated with a Postsecondary Student Success Grant (PSSG). • Support grant activities related to peer mentoring, supplemental instruction, and student employment. • Collect relevant information and data; monitor and organize grant budget spending; assist with clerical and administrative tasks. • Communicate with federal grant staff and stakeholders; support Project Director and Co-Principal Investigators. • Ensure completion of all grant-funded activities and support Academic Peer Navigator program tasks. • Assist with monthly project budget monitoring, reimbursements/procurements, vendor contracts in Agiloft, and reconcile expenses in Workday. • Update project SharePoint site and outreach materials; administer satisfaction surveys for Peer Navigator programs. • Manage PNN and OPN email inboxes, take meeting notes, coordinate events and logistics, and schedule oversight. • Attend required Peer Navigator Network Meetings; provide creative oversight and curriculum development. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in administrative support, grant management, office management, executive support, or related positions. • Experience coordinating or managing federal grant programs, working with student employees and/or mentoring programs is preferred. • Proficiency in data entry and completion of online reporting forms related to local, state, federal, or private grants. • Ability to participate as an active team member and work toward a common goal. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse constituencies. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities. • Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. • Experience using Student Information System (SIS) such as SOAR/Peoplesoft systems.
