Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives in the Workers’ Compensation space, with a focus on medication dispensing and/or durable medical equipment (DME) services. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives on building partnerships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and navigating the complexities of workers’ compensation networks. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the workers’ compensation ecosystem, providers, attorneys, and employers. • Present and sell company product and services to new customers • Prospect and contact potential customers • Leverage your experience in medication dispensing or DME to position our products and services effectively. • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to expand referral networks and market presence. • Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and areas of strategic expansion. • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, compliance, and billing) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and business growth. • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pricing models tailored to client needs. • Track and report performance metrics, lead conversions, and revenue growth. • Travel to various cities to visit physicians and clinics Qualifications: • Required Experience: • 2+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience in the healthcare or workers’ compensation industry. • Strong background in medication dispensing, pharmacy services, or durable medical equipment (DME). • Skills & Competencies: • In-depth understanding of workers’ compensation regulations, billing practices, and provider/payor networks. • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and execute on growth opportunities. • Highly organized with strong analytical and CRM/reporting skills. • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools Preferred Qualifications: • Established relationships in the workers’ comp providers and industry • Experience with lien-based medical services or insurance reimbursement models.
