CDL Class A Driver Driver needed for CDL Class A Routes Monday – Saturday, daytime hours. CDL Class A Driver will operate out of our Columbia, MD terminal and make local deliveries. CDL Class A Driver Responsibilities: • Run local routes • Must be hands on with the unload process. Touch Freight. Driver will be delivering to a retail store's receiving dock and have the responsibility of bringing items to the rear of the truck for the receivers to accept. • Must be courteous & professional at all times. • Must be reliable, trustworthy andhave good communication. • Must be in uniform and always have ID displayed. • Must follow all procedures related to the safe & secure delivery of the items to the store. • Must understand the importance of every procedural detail as it relates to compliance to the customer's requirements. CDL Class A Driver Requirements: • 2 years minimum CDL Class A experience is REQUIRED. • Clean background and MVR required. • Must have a good driving record - no consistent speeding, seatbelt, or red light history. • Ability to lift 70 pounds, • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
