Full Description

Position Summary NAR is seeking a motivated Commercial Programs Specialist to support the organization’s initiatives and engagement in the commercial real estate space, thereby increasing member satisfaction in the value of membership. This role will support execution of programs and services, support events and outreach, and support governance operations. Duties And Responsibilities • Support Director, Global and Commercial Strategy in enhancing association services and member satisfaction. • Manage NAR’s Commercial Accreditation and Awards programs, by promoting awareness and assisting commercial structures with implementation. • Manage commercial grant administration from processing and approval to fund distribution. • Support programs aimed at building NAR’s presence in the commercial real estate industry. • Communicate with members, local associations, and state associations on the NAR commercial services that best meet their needs. • Create commercial content for distribution on social media and editorial accounts. • Assist associations in developing their own commercial structures and programs. • Support governance operations of the Commercial Committee, Property Management Forum, and Commercial Leadership Forum. • Support workgroups on initiatives to enhance association services and support. • Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred • 3-5 years experience in a similar role • Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills • Highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple teams • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines, and execute projects from beginning to end • Polished written and verbal communications skills, with attention to accuracy and understanding of audience • Experience working in association management or non-profit organizations is a plus • Ability to travel up to 20% Compensation: $62,000-$75,000 NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance. NAR is on a hybrid schedule and in the office 3 days a week.
