Duties • Greet patients warmly, verify their identity, and facilitate the intake process efficiently • Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse • Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately, including documentation of patient encounters and ICD coding for diagnoses • Manage emails from providers and patients • Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments, patient reminders, and coordinating referrals to specialists or other departments • Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient flow, and handling paperwork related to insurance or billing processes • Facilitating communication between patients and providers by assisting with messages and communicating information back to patients. • Communicating about medication authorizations to pharmacies and insurance companies.
