2 years HR experience as assistant/coordinator, familiarity with ATS and HRIS (Dayforce a plus), strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
As an HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by supporting various aspects of the candidate and employee life cycle. In this role, you will assist in attracting, screening, and onboarding prospective team members while also supporting the separation process as necessary, providing administrative support across multiple HR functions. This is a remote, 3-month temporary position, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recruitment Support: • * Assist with creating job postings through our Dayforce ATS. • Conduct initial reviews of to identify qualified candidates, scheduling interviews and facilitating communication with candidates, as appropriate. • Assist in the preparation of interview materials and candidate evaluation forms. • Collect feedback from interviewers and maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Onboarding Support: • * Coordinate processing of background checks, new hire JIRA tickets, I-9 employment verifications, new hire info sessions and trainings, and new hire paperwork, partnering with IT as appropriate to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires. • Assist with the preparation of new hire orientation presentations, facilitating orientation as requested. • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns, escalating as necessary. Separation Process Support: • * Conduct administrative tasks related to separation, processing JIRA tickets • Assist with the preparation of separation paperwork and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. • Support the processing of separation paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, including updating employee records and initiating benefits termination. Administrative Support: • * Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System). • Assist with employee relations activities, including maintaining electronic employee files and documentation. • Provide support for HR projects and initiatives. • Assist with HR reporting and data analysis as needed. • Handle inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Compliance and Process Improvement: • * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements throughout the recruitment, onboarding, and separation processes. Experience & Education Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (commensurate experience will be considered in place of a degree) with 2 years of experience in HR, as an assistant or coordinator • Familiarity with standard HR processes, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS systems (Dayforce experience, a plus) • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The hourly range for applicable remote US-based applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location. • $22.00 - $26.00, plus bonus potential.
