Technical Sales Representative – Benchtop NMR (Mountain West, USA) Nanalysis is a global leader in high-performance benchtop NMR instrumentation for academic, industrial, and government laboratories. We are expanding our U.S. sales team and are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to drive growth across the Midwest territory. About the Role As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales of Nanalysis’ benchtop NMR products across assigned states, working directly with customers and supported by a regional network of manufacturer representatives. This is a customer-facing role that requires technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the drive to develop new business. The successful candidate will participate in comprehensive onboarding and product training led by the Sales and Applications Chemistry teams. Key Responsibilities · Drive new instrument sales across academic, industry, and government accounts. · Manage existing customer relationships and grow business within the territory. · Conduct on-site and remote product demonstrations. · Work with Applications Chemists to run customer samples and provide data reports. · Deliver business presentations and, when appropriate, technical chemistry presentations. · Attend trade shows identified by Marketing and take initiative to organize regional events such as Lunch & Learns. · Understand product manuals, software, and NMR fundamentals to represent the technology credibly. · Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline reporting. · Provide sales metrics useful for continued marketing and business planning. · Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate closely with the broader organization. Territory This role covers a multi-state region: Direct Sales: Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico Supported via Manufacturer Representatives as they come online Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. · Sales experience in scientific, laboratory, analytical, or capital equipment markets is an asset. · Organized with strong attention to detail is a must. · Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. · Comfortable speaking with scientists, engineers, and decision-makers. · Data-driven and able to manage a sales pipeline independently. · Must possess or be eligible for a valid passport and able to travel domestically and internationally. · Based in a large city within the territory preferred. Compensation & Benefits · Target compensation of $70,000 annually (65/30/5 base/commission/KPI split). · Base salary of $45,500 plus uncapped commission potential. · Company laptop and cellphone provided. · Mileage and travel expenses reimbursed. · 15 days vacation plus all US Federal holidays. · Health, vision, drug, and dental benefits starting after 90 days.
