Marketing Intern (Hybrid) Department: Marketing Location: Denver, CO Summary / Objective The Marketing Intern will help strengthen our brand by supporting digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management, including promoting products/services, engaging target audiences, and contributing to broader initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience managing a campaign from ideation to launch while receiving mentorship from experienced marketing professionals. This role reports to the Director, Marketing What You'll Do • Assist in the organization and deployment of new marketing campaigns by collaborating with partner, content and lifecycle marketing managers. Projects may include: • Supporting the launch of a new partner co-marketing campaign from planning to execution • Contributing to the renewal lifecycle strategy through auditing and optimizing transactional email flows. • Support day-to-day marketing operations by gaining exposure to common marketing tools and platforms • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, research emerging marketing strategies and technologies, and contribute to the development of market research reports • Review content inventory, support the execution of content creation across channels, track content performance reports, and analyze emerging content trends for potential impact • Analyze campaign data to identify anomalies and opportunities for improvement, document campaign performance findings, and support the development of dashboards and reports • Research content and assist in the development of department guidelines and custom marketing campaigns for target audiences • Assist in gathering evidence for marketing audits and compliance assessments (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) • Support in project management, coordinating cross functional stakeholder input, operationalizing meeting cadences and maintaining timelines • Participate in marketing team meetings and training to support collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development • Consistently model Identity Digital Values in all interactions and decisions Who You Are / What You Bring • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field • Basic understanding of marketing concepts (digital, lifecycle, partner, and content marketing; social media) • Familiarity with common marketing tools, including automation tools like Klaviyo • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Wrike, Monday • Familiarity with marketing and brand management frameworks and standards such as AIDA, SWOT, and Porter's Five Forces an asset • Basic understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus • Proactive and enthusiastic learner eager to apply marketing principles in a real-world setting • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Detail oriented with a keen eye for market trends and customer engagement • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization (when applicable) • Ability to travel as needed • Reliable transportation to the workplace Physical Requirements • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Compensation This is a paid internship at $25 per hour.
