Supporting a community wellness event through digital advertising strategy and campaign setup.
Volunteer role requiring digital advertising strategy, campaign architecture, and setup skills, with no specific technical skills or certifications required.
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We would like to partner with a skilled digital advertising volunteer to develop a Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) strategy and campaign framework to support International Yoga Day Miami, a large-scale community wellness summit. Specifically, we are seeking support to: Define target audiences and funnel stages within Meta Ads (e.g., awareness, engagement, conversion) Design a clear campaign and ad set structure that aligns with our event goals and can be reused for future events Provide guidance on creative strategy for short-form video and image-based ads using existing content Outline a high-level budget allocation approach and key performance indicators Set up campaigns and ad sets inside Meta Ads Manager so they are ready for launch by our internal team All photo and video assets will be provided. This project is focused on strategy, campaign architecture, and setup, not ongoing ad management, optimization, or spend monitoring. We anticipate collaborating over several weeks within a 2–5 hour per week commitment. The outcome will be a repeatable Meta Ads framework that strengthens our internal marketing capacity and supports future large-scale wellness events. Namaskar Foundation’s mission is to improve community health and well-being by making holistic, preventive wellness practices accessible to people of all ages. Strategic digital outreach is essential to reaching diverse communities and reducing barriers to participation in wellness programming. This project will directly support our mission by helping us expand awareness of International Yoga Day Miami, a large-scale community wellness summit offering yoga, meditation, education, and mental health–supportive experiences. A strong Meta Ads strategy will allow us to reach individuals who may not already be connected to wellness spaces and invite them into inclusive, community-centered programming. By building a sustainable paid advertising framework, this project will also strengthen our long-term capacity to promote accessible wellness initiatives, attract partners and sponsors, and increase participation year over year. Volunteers will see their expertise translate into greater visibility, higher attendance, and expanded access to preventive wellness resources for thousands of community members. Our leadership team is fully aligned on the goals and scope of this Meta Ads strategy project, and a dedicated project lead will work directly with the Taproot volunteer throughout the engagement. We are ready to begin immediately and have secured internal buy-in to implement the outcomes of this work. We will provide the volunteer with all necessary materials, including event details, audience demographics, prior marketing performance data, and a library of existing photo and short-form video assets suitable for paid advertising. We have also defined a clear budget range and campaign goals, allowing the volunteer to focus on strategy and setup rather than foundational decisions. The project will include structured check-ins, clear milestones, and timely feedback to ensure efficient collaboration within a 2–5 hour per week commitment. All campaign structures, documentation, and recommendations developed through this project will be implemented by our internal team and reused for future events, ensuring long-term impact beyond a single campaign. Namaskar Foundation Corporation Mission: Namaskar Foundation’s mission is to improve community health and well-being by making holistic, preventive wellness practices accessible to all. We advance physical, mental, and emotional health through yoga, meditation, education, and wellness rooted programs that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
