Operations and Customer Solutions Associate- Itasca, IL About the Role The OCS Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service to customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This position sits at the center of operations, supporting order management, logistics coordination, inventory planning, and financial accuracy. What You’ll Do As an OCS Associate, you’ll support day-to-day operational excellence by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong communication across teams. Customer & Order Support • Enter and manage customer, supplier, and vendor records accurately in internal systems • Process customer purchase orders, sales transactions, quotes, and forecasts • Create and issue customer invoices and ASNs • Support sample, trial, and service orders Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination • Prepare and submit purchase orders to suppliers • Coordinate inbound material and outbound logistics, including freight and duty postings • Prepare logistics quotes and manage transportation details • Monitor inventory needs in collaboration with Sales and Operations Financial & Data Accuracy • Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate pricing records • Post freight, logistics, and duty-related transactions • Ensure all documentation is properly filed and maintained in Docuware • Support monthly and annual close by completing tasks accurately and on time Collaboration & Continuous Improvement • Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and leadership to resolve issues in real time • Identify and escalate risks, rejections, or delays promptly • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning activities • Contribute feedback and insights to improve systems, workflows, and tools Technology & Systems • Work within company-developed and third-party systems, including SAP, Mezzanine, Overdrive, EDI (Radley), CRM, and Docuware What We’re Looking For • Associate degree in business, operations, logistics, sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years of experience in an operations, customer solutions, or supply chain environment • Experience within the automotive supplier industry is a plus • Working knowledge of SAP and related operational systems • Intermediate Excel skills • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment • Full-time, Monday through Friday (flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends as needed) • Hybrid work environment • Occasional travel based on business needs Why Join Us? • Be part of a collaborative, solutions-focused operations team • Gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain and customer operations • Work in a role where accuracy, communication, and initiative truly matter • Opportunity to grow skills across operations, logistics, and systems #Nagase #Hybrid
