We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Billing & Backoffice Operations Coordinator to join our operations team. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling, data entry, and clinician support Oversee billing workflows and support revenue cycle management (RCM) activities Reconcile claims, track denials, and follow up with payers to ensure timely reimbursement Maintain accurate patient, provider, and insurance records within our EMR and practice management systems Support onboarding of new clinicians into administrative and billing systems Collaborate with operations leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all payer requirements Provide excellent communication and support to both clinicians and patients for administrative needs What You Bring Required: 1+ years of healthcare administration experience Previous billing experience (insurance claims, denials, RCM workflows) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfort with technology (EMRs, billing software, spreadsheets, Google Workspace) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment Preferred: Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health practices Familiarity with payer credentialing and provider enrollment workflows Experience with systems such as SimplePractice, Healthie, or similar EMRs Knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10) What We’re Looking For Problem-solver with a process-first mindset Clear, timely communicator and reliable collaborator Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid growth environments Committed to equity, respect, and patient-centered care values What We Offer Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time roles) Reimbursement for home technology Flexible scheduling within core business hours Professional growth opportunities within a rapidly scaling health organization
