Our flagship platform, Chiral, is an intelligent agent-human orchestration system built to transform complex and compliance-driven workflows across Prior Authorization, Risk Adjustment, and Quality improvement. We combine domain-specific intelligence, human-AI collaboration, and CMS-aligned compliance to help payers, providers, and ACOs drive efficiency, improve accuracy, and elevate member and provider experiences. Position Overview As the Product Manager at N-21.ai, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for one or more AI-driven modules (e.g., Risk Adjustment, Prior Authorization, or Quality). You’ll bridge clinical, technical, and business perspectives to define, design, and deliver products that create measurable value for payers, providers, and members. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, clinicians, and clients to ensure our products are not only technically sound and compliant but also deeply aligned with real-world healthcare operations and CMS regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy & Vision • Develop and refine the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with N-21.ai’s strategic priorities. • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify differentiation opportunities in the Medicare Advantage AI space. • Partner with leadership to translate the company’s mission into clear product strategies that drive adoption, outcomes, and return on AI investments (ROAI) for the clients. • Own and lead product-market fit strategy and ongoing refinement 2. Product Planning & Execution • Own the full product lifecycle — from concept to launch to iteration — ensuring timely delivery of high-impact releases. • Translate high-level goals into detailed BRDs, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Prioritize product backlog based on business value, regulatory deadlines, and customer feedback. • Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, design, clinical, compliance, and go-to-market teams. 3. Clinical & Regulatory Alignment • Ensure all product modules align with CMS, NCQA, and HIPAA requirements for data security and audit readiness. • Collaborate with clinical SMEs to embed domain expertise and medical reasoning into AI workflows (e.g., HCC validation, MEAT criteria, prior auth decision trees). • Stay current on regulatory changes (e.g., CMS RADV, prior auth modernization rules) and update product logic accordingly. 4. AI & Data Collaboration • Work with data scientists and AI engineers to define requirements for model training, validation, and deployment. • Translate business needs into functional AI use cases (e.g., diagnosis prediction, MEAT validation, NLP-based chart parsing). • Evaluate model performance using accuracy, recall, and precision metrics while balancing explainability and compliance. 5. User Experience & Feedback • Lead user research and usability testing with clinicians, coders, and payer operations teams. • Translate user insights into product refinements that improve workflow intuitiveness, decision transparency, and audit readiness. • Collaborate with design to ensure UI/UX aligns with clinical documentation and operational norms (Epic-style workflow realism). 6. Go-to-Market & Outcomes • Partner with business development and client success to support demos, pilots, and deployment. • Define and track product KPIs such as turnaround time reduction, coding accuracy, RAF lift, and cost savings. • Document and communicate product value stories and ROI outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. • Own client pilot implementations to ensure success and ROAI. Qualifications Required: • 2+ years of product management experience in Healthtech, Pay-viders, payer, or provider technology sectors. • Proven experience managing AI/ML, data analytics, or automation-driven products in healthcare. • Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage operations, particularly Risk Adjustment, Prior Authorization, or Care Management workflows. • Demonstrated ability to translate clinical or regulatory requirements into product design and specifications. • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Linear. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: • Clinical background (MD, RN, PharmD) or healthcare operations experience. • Familiarity with CMS HCC models (v28/v29), MEAT documentation standards, and RADV audits. • Exposure to FHIR, HL7, OCR/NLP systems, or LLM-based product development. • Exposure to agentic AI development and deployment. • Startup experience or comfort operating in an early-stage, fast-paced environment.
