Job Description As a Managing Director you will serve as a client account manager and work with alongside the C-level of public and private companies to articulate the company's competitive advantages, growth strategy, industry dynamics and valuation story, while communicating a consistent strategic and financial story. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive and strategic investor relations program. In this position, you will serve as a liaison and channel of communication between our clients and investors, shareholders, analysts and other and influencers in the investment community. Specific responsibilities include: • Develops and maintains a company investor relations plan • Performs a comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation • Establishes the optimum type and mix of shareholders and creates that mix through a variety of targeting and outreach initiatives. • Developing and maintaining an active dialogue with key equity investors, stakeholders and the research analyst community • Organizes conferences, road shows, phone and conference calls, email and online Virtual Road Shows activities in U.S. and global markets • Works with executives to develop and execute all investor communications, including overall strategy and tactics for implementation • Creates press releases, presentations, and other communications materials for earnings releases, investor days, industry events, quarterly conference call scripts and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors • Provides feedback to management regarding the investment community’s perception of the company as well as the impact of stock repurchase programs or dividend changes on the investment community • Successful Prospecting: Seek qualified IR client candidates and convert them to paying clients Desired Qualifications: · 6+ years of Investor Relations agency experience · BA/BS degree with emphasis in accounting/finance · MBA desired · Excellent analytical and quantitative skills · Detail oriented and superior organizational skills · Ability to work effectively and even thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment. · Superior written and verbal communications · Current established relationships in the investment community · Understanding of Wall Street ecosystem, specifically in the micro- and small-cap space · Ability to collaborate effectively with the executive team as well as back office support; and superior client-service skills. · Must be willing to travel.
