Position Overview As our Senior Marketing Copywriter & Strategist, you’ll sit at the intersection of creativity and strategy. You’ll zoom out to see the big picture – how campaigns, ads, brand stories, and nurture sequences tie together – and zoom in to refine the details that make them work. This is a hands-on-keyboard role for someone who not only loves writing but also deeply understands how messaging moves people to action. • Creative Concepting & Campaign Ideation: Lead the development of breakthrough ideas that shape campaigns, content themes, and brand stories – bridging strategy and creativity to inspire action. • End-to-End Narrative Building: Create comprehensive brand messaging frameworks and translate them across the entire funnel – from awareness-driving ads to conversion-focused nurture flows. • Lifecycle & Campaign Content: Build integrated campaigns that guide audiences from first impression to long-term engagement, including sales enablement, onboarding, education, retention, and re-engagement. • Email & SMS Mastery: Concept, structure, and write high-performing campaigns – drip sequences, promotions, and nurture flows – grounded in conversion psychology. • Multi-Channel Content Creation: Write with agility across formats: blogs, thought leadership, SEO, ad copy, scripts, whitepapers, and executive messaging. • Video & Script Development: Craft compelling scripts and killer hooks for brand films, ads, explainer videos, and social cutdowns – ensuring messaging is cinematic, concise, and emotionally resonant. • Strategic Precision: Balance big-picture vision with meticulous detail – refining every headline, CTA, and subject line while ensuring all touchpoints connect. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content, design, paid media, and client teams to create cohesive, high-performing journeys. • Ownership & Delivery: Prioritize, manage deadlines, and consistently deliver excellent work – from strategic frameworks to execution details. What We’d Love to See • 8+ years of copywriting and content strategy experience, with prior agency experience required. • A portfolio that demonstrates brilliance across channels and shows how work fits into larger campaign strategies. • Proven expertise in lifecycle/omnichannel marketing – understanding how advertising, brand storytelling, email nurture, and retention interconnect. • Strong audience insight and empathy: the ability to craft emotionally resonant, conversion-focused messages at every stage of the customer journey. • Experience leading discovery processes, stakeholder interviews, and competitive research to build foundational brand narratives and messaging strategies. • Obsessive passion for content structure, storytelling, and conversion optimization. • Flexibility and excitement to switch mediums, from SEO-driven articles to cinematic video scripts, with equal energy and creativity. • A love of details, from tone and cadence to the Oxford comma (yes, we care!).
