The Alumni Coordinator will reach out to MyComputerCareer graduates to inform them about alumni services and assist them in their career success. This includes helping with educational courses, certifications, and career placement.
Candidates should have an associate's degree or equivalent experience, along with 1-2 years in higher education or student services. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as familiarity with Web Ex and Salesforce, is required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm EST (On occasion Saturdays) Location: Remote Salary Range (non-exempt): $50-55K Candidates can reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, NV, OH, OK, SC, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI PURPOSE OF POSITION: As an Alumni Coordinator (AC), you will serve as an Admissions Counselor for Alumni and be responsible for reaching out to MyComputerCareer graduates making them aware of alumni services’ opportunities, while assisting them with continuing their path of career success by obtaining educational courses, advanced technical certifications, aggressive career placement, and when applicable, associate degree completion. Must have a passion to motivate others to succeed and possess a high level of servitude. Additionally, time management is essential, as you will be responsible for scheduling your meetings with graduates, while performing all aspects of alumni enrollment. While advocating for success and serving as a virtual resource, the AC is expected to be fully engaged and committed to alumni achievement throughout their matriculation. It is also expected to maintain professional relationships as outlined by student engagement initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Sells the value of MyComputerCareer’s advance courses (CSS, CSE, AAS) to Graduates/Alumni through a consultation. * Performs daily follow up calls to help students progress towards enrollment, ensure proper documentation is obtained. * Helps students obtain funding through private lenders * Makes appropriate referrals to communities and/or organizational departments to meet student needs. * Set expectations and coordinate various services to ensure academic progression and successful program completion * Participates in or conducts student recruitment programs with other members of faculty and staff * Ensures alumni have completed our required on-boarding process which includes completing New Student Interviews and showing up to the First Day of Labs * Performs daily follow up calls to help graduates progress towards enrollment. * Held responsible for retention of all alumni programs and participates in "save the student" meetings * Helps students obtain required documentation to enroll into the program including High School Transcripts, college transcripts, Identification etc. * Performs key duties to ensure alumni are properly enrolled for credentialed programs, refresher courses, and boot camps * Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. KEY COMPETENCIES: * Professionalism, trustworthiness, and ethics * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Results oriented * Organization EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or a combination of education and experience * Minimum 1-2 years of higher education, post-secondary and/or student services and/or educational sales experience * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (required) * Proficiency in computer systems to include Web Ex and Salesforce * Attention to detail * Ability to think outside the box PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
