Role Overview: As a Customer Service Specialist and Dispatch team member, you will be the vital link between our clients and field technicians. Your role is to ensure seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and exceptional customer service to support our growing operations in Vienna, VA. What You'll Do: - You will manage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and empathy. - You will schedule and dispatch pest control technicians efficiently to meet customer needs and optimize routes. - You will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and technician schedules. - You will resolve customer concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction. - You will collaborate with field staff to communicate updates and changes in service appointments. - You will assist in billing and payment processing as needed. - You will contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on customer trends and operational challenges. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or dispatch roles, preferably in pest control or related industries. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor. - Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging customer situations calmly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with pest control industry software or CRM systems. - Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish-English. - Previous experience working in a family-owned business environment. - Knowledge of local service areas in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
