FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Flexible - Hybrid Position Summary The Program Director, Facility Operations provides system level leadership and oversight for Facility Management across MultiCare Health System. This role supports the development and execution of strategic direction, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and operational performance standards. As a subject matter expert, the leader drives consistency, efficiency, and quality across Building Services, Plant Operations, and Property Management. Responsibilities: Establish and execute system wide strategies for facility operations, standardization, and performance improvement Broad knowledge of CMS, TJC, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory agency standards is essential. Oversee policies, procedures, training programs, and contracted services to ensure consistency and compliance Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous survey readiness across all facilities Support capital planning, facility upgrades, and minor construction or renovation projects Drive workforce planning, talent development, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Business, Public Administration, or related field required Master’s Degree Preferred Ten (10) years of technical experience working in any combination of regulatory compliance, contract administration, routine capital construction, property management and/or engineering for various equipment systems found in a client-services/client-oriented service provider organization providing services in a healthcare setting Seven (7) years of experience with The Joint Commission standards, specific familiarity with Environment of Care standards, requirements, and compliance Seven (7) years of management or supervisory experience with budget responsibility Driver License/Abstract - Multiple Issuers Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) within 3 years of Hire Date PMP and Lean Six Sigma Experience Preferred • Internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications may be considered Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $152,443.20 - $219,356.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
