Job Description: • Independently leads multi-disciplinary teams through large-scale complex transformational change initiatives • Responsible for directly managing and driving teams in the implementation of numerous governance frameworks • Provide transparency to senior leadership of progress of initiatives • Develop and tailor communications content and artifacts used across various levels in the organization • Ensures follow-up on all critical items and drives accountability through documentation • Build relationships and participate in engagement management with senior stakeholders • Develop and rely upon relationships across the organization to break down silos • Responsible for educating team members by leveraging deep institutional and banking knowledge • Lead work groups and individuals with diverse views to develop and provide strategic recommendations • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 7 years’ work experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented • Proven intellectual curiosity • Proven leadership skills • Demonstrated cognitive bandwidth • Relevant financial services industry experience preferred • Minimum of 5 years’ project, program or portfolio management experience, specifically with large-scale transformation projects • Prior experience leading organizational change • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MS preferred • PMP, Agile, SAFe, Certified BA and/or ScrumMaster Certification • Prior management consulting or comparable client service experience a plus Benefits: • Health insurance • Retirement plans • Paid volunteer time
