This role partners closely with sales, engineering, operations, and vendor partners to create compelling product positioning and customer-focused content that supports growth in the industrial, commercial, and data center markets. Key Responsibilities: Product Positioning & Messaging • Develop clear, customer-centric positioning for company product lines, emphasizing safety, reliability, mobility, and compliance (e.g., UL 1008, NEC requirements). • Translate technical specifications into value-driven messaging for contractors, engineering firms, distributors, and data center operators. • Maintain updated product sheets, technical briefs, and application overviews for temporary power and modular solutions. Market & Competitive Intelligence • Research trends in temporary power, data center maintenance, modular switchgear, and electrical distribution markets. • Track competitor offerings, pricing trends, and differentiators to strengthen company’s positioning. • Provide data-driven insights to support product roadmaps and inventory decisions. Sales Enablement • Develop tools that help the sales team communicate value to customers—battlecards, competitive comparisons, technical application guides, and product demo content. • Deliver training sessions to outside sales, inside sales, and channel partners to ensure deep product understanding. • Support the quoting team with refined product descriptions and standardized messaging for proposals. Campaign & Demand Generation Support • Partner with the marketing team to build campaigns around high-demand categories like UL 1008 Dual/Triple Switches, portable power panels, cable assemblies, and modular solutions. • Provide product content for digital advertising, social media, and email workflows. • Monitor campaign results and provide insights for optimization. Qualifications: Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related technical field. • 2–5 years of product marketing, technical marketing, or electrical/industrial product experience preferred. • Familiarity with power distribution, temporary power equipment, electrical codes, or data center infrastructure is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies • Strong technical writing and communication skills; ability to simplify complex electrical concepts. • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities. • Proficiency in developing product collateral and presentations. • Comfort working with CRM, PIM, and marketing automation tools. • Data-driven mindset with strong research and analytical skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Success Indicators • Consistent, accurate product messaging across all product platforms. • Increased adoption of sales tools and improved conversion rates in target markets. • Successful and timely execution of product launches. • Strong partnership with engineering, operations, and vendor partners. • Measurable improvements in product awareness and lead generation.
