Your Purpose MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise line brand is expanding its Information Technology team supporting the US Division. Reporting to the Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations, the IT Project Manager – Infrastructure and Operations will lead critical technology projects across office, terminal, and operational environments. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects including structured cabling, networking, AV systems, security integration, and coordination with global stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional coordination, and has hands-on experience delivering IT solutions aligned with specific timelines and enterprise technology standards. Your Impact Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects for new facility buildouts, relocations, and expansions (offices, cruise terminals, data centers). Coordinate with internal IT teams, facilities, construction managers, and external vendors (low-voltage, networking, AV, etc.) to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Oversee installation of structured cabling, switches, firewalls, access points, AV systems, badge access/security systems, and server/network equipment. Ensure alignment with IT standards for network architecture, endpoint connectivity, Wi-Fi, VoIP, and redundancy. Track project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and maintain detailed documentation. Prepare regular status reports for senior leadership and manage change requests as needed. Conduct site readiness assessments, infrastructure testing, and handoff to operations teams. Your Journey so far Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on infrastructure and physical site buildouts. Familiarity with PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, etc.). PMP or related certification is a plus. Knowledge of ITIL practices for infrastructure operations. Understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and vendor procurement processes. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience managing IT components in new construction or renovation projects (e.g., structured cabling, networking, security, AV). Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, wireless), server rooms/data closets, and physical security systems. Experience working closely with facilities/construction teams, general contractors, and trades.
