Immediate opening with an SBA Loan Portfolio Manager with a very successful, growing regional financial institution. Remote option available for the right candidate. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage a portfolio of SBA, USDA, and State Guarantee credits of moderate to extreme complexity. Follow for financial reporting and regular site visits. Meet regularly with clients to ascertain their financial health. • Evaluate changes in credit risk and make appropriate and timely risk grade changes. • Ensure Bank’s files contain all SBA required documentation and are conducive to periodic SBA audits. Prepare servicing actions when necessary and in accordance with government guaranty rules and SOP. • When appropriate, assist in the liquidation process ensuring that the government guarantee is protected and collaborate with and provide support to the Bank’s assigned special assets officer • Ensure adherence to specific policies and guidelines of all government guarantee agencies. • Responsible for follow up with customers for delinquent loan payments, property taxes and other required taxes and/or payments based on borrower industry/property type. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 5 years experience in SBA and other government guaranteed lending or 7 years of relevant experience in underwriting or credit administration with at least 1 years of SBA experience. • Experience with SBA Liquidation process a plus. • Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, bank operational and lending policies and procedures, and the bank products and services, including related lending regulations.
