5+ years managing environmental databases with EarthSoft EQuIS or similar, strong SQL skills, leadership experience, environmental remediation industry background, and a relevant bachelor's degree.
Job Description: • excel at performing data management and visualization services for large-scale environmental remediation sites including Superfund sites • work closely with Project Managers and clients to determine technical direction and requirements • provide technical oversight, mentorship and instruction to Analysts and Technicians • manage, analyze, and report analytical and field measurement data collected through various sampling events • collaborate as part of a multi-office project team that includes Project Managers, Analysts, Technicians, Programmers, Software Engineers, Geologists, and Chemists • manage legacy data migrations; design, automate, and document system workflows and processes; GIS maintenance and development • contribute toward frequent team meetings, project management, and client communications Requirements: • 5+ years’ experience managing environmental databases using EarthSoft’s EQuIS core product line or similar software • Solid understanding of relational databases including the core EQuIS Schema, SQL Server and T-SQL • Experience managing environmental databases, using database applications, and reporting tools • Demonstrated leadership in driving continuous improvement in workflow and skill sets • Proven ability to contribute toward the building and improvement of ddms’ environmental data training programs • Proven fluency in modern office software programs • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the physical sciences, computer science, engineering or geology • Experience in the environmental remediation industry • Project or Task Management experience • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills Benefits: • medical and dental insurance • access to both short-term and long-term disability coverage • robust retirement plan • generous paid time off (PTO) • volunteer time off (VTO) to support community engagement and personal well-being
