Mathias Die Company Die Cutter/ Press Operator Onsite: 391 Malden St. South St. Paul, MN has been dedicated to quality work and service excellence for over 50 years. Mathias services all major U.S. industrial markets with cutting and stamping dies, die cutting, laser cutting, and waterjet cutting. We are a ISO 9001:2015 production organization. Immediate opening available for and Die Cutter / Press Operator positions! This position is available for an individual who has operated manufacturing production equipment. Examples: Stamping Presses, Computer Aided Cutting Machines, QMS Inspection Equipment. Note: MDC operator training is provided as various Die Cutting Department tasks are assigned. What we offer: Die Cutter/ Press Operator • Starting Wage: $20+/hour • First Shift Flexibility • Health • Dental • 401K Employer Match What We're Looking For: Die Cutter/ Press Operator • Has experience within operating mechanical/manufacturing production machinery. • Personal Motivated Interest in Hands-on Learning more within our Manufacturing Industry that which we support through, Die Cutting & Stamping Machines services; Material Product Converting Technologies. • Ability to lift 50 pounds in order to move die boards, rule, shipping products, die cutting material, inventory and maintenance requirements. • Ability to lift and carry a 10 x 10 inch to a 48 x 56 inch die board. • The position requires Sitting, Standing, Walking, Stairs, Bending/knell, Lifting through its scheduled shift. • The position tasks require agility to reach, pull, grasp, left/right twisting/swivel at waist level. • Adequate vision and hand-eye coordination to interpret directions on the job ticket and handle production flow of die cut parts within finished quality requirements. • Educations equivalent to High School Diploma or GED. • Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal Key Responsibilities: Die Cutter/ Press Operator • Perform various Die Cutting production and maintenance tasks; Perform duties as apparent or assigned. • Preform setup and preventative maintenance on die cutting equipment. • Follow Make Ready procedures, ensuring a clean cut of the final product, as instructed. • Follow department production control check points, supporting quality requirements for die cut part expectations. • Understand material control, material handling, material condition specific to written & verbal instructions • Use company ERP software (OpenShop) to collect necessary data to ensure the company’s success. • Follow all safety rules and practices and promote preventative safety The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
