With a strong focus on efficiency and precision, the company relies on accurate inventory management to support seamless cargo movement. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy and support daily logistics operations. Position Summary The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, and reconciling inventory across warehouses and transport operations. This role ensures that all materials, products, and shipments are accounted for accurately and that discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing freight • Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure data accuracy • Record inventory transactions in the system, including adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations • Track cargo movement and monitor product levels to identify shortages or overages • Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with warehouse staff to resolve issues • Coordinate with warehouse associates, drivers, and management to ensure proper freight handling • Verify documentation such as packing slips, manifests, BOLs, and delivery receipts • Prepare inventory reports for management and support forecasting activities • Ensure inventory storage areas are organized, labeled, and compliant with company procedures • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse processes and inventory workflows Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in logistics or supply chain preferred • Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics strongly preferred • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy levels • Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and organizing items as needed Benefits • Competitive pay • Paid time off and holidays • Health benefits • Opportunities for advancement within logistics and operations • Supportive and efficient working environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.20 - $24.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
