Job description Job Summary The Logistics Account Manager at M and P Logistics builds and manages a book of business by developing client relationships, finding new opportunities, and coordinating transportation. This role blends sales, problem-solving, and customer service while giving you the resources, technology, and hands-on support needed to grow your portfolio and your income. Unlike many brokerage environments, you are never on your own here. We invest heavily in our team through training, daily coaching, and industry-leading tools designed to set you up for long-term success. What You’ll Do • Use top-tier technology such as DAT, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo to identify prospects and secure new business. • Build and maintain long-term relationships as the primary contact for your clients. • Provide pricing based on customer needs and live market conditions. • Negotiate competitive rates with quality carriers. • Select carriers based on cost, reliability, and service expectations. • Prepare accurate shipping documents and invoices. • Track shipments, ensure on-time delivery, and resolve any service issues quickly. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred but not required. • 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally in logistics, preferred but not required. • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills. • Excellent organization and attention to detail. • Comfortable with MS Office and quick to learn new systems. • Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
