Under the leadership of your Senior Account Director, you'll be responsible for the overall client satisfaction of assigned accounts, their revenue growth, profitability, and project management. You'll use your deep understanding of social media strategy to lead the client and our internal team to deliver disruptive creativity. And you'll identify and execute tactical growth plans to grow the business. Senior Account Manager ROLE SPECIFICS As a Senior Account Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day relationship, success and growth of our clients. Internally, you'll manage our cross-functional team to deliver innovative work. You'll juggle competing priorities, from budgets to resourcing, as you contribute to assuring agency revenue and profitability. Externally, you'll manage our clients to the success they dreamed of. You'll intuit their needs and inspire them with what's possible. This person must be located in the New York Metropolitan area. RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for managing and delivering joy to assigned accounts with minimum accountability for revenue of $1M-3M per year • Deeply understand and intuit the client's needs and develop strategies to meet their business objectives; key owner of all projects and processes from beginning to end • Lead the client and internal team to develop social-first brand and campaign strategies that can break through the clutter and drive cultural relevance across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond • Be a champion of the sports industry within the account team, helping translate the energy of professional sports into compelling brand activations, campaigns, and platform-specific storytelling • Work closely with all client team members; participate in defining account plans, needs, KPI's and translate these requests with clear briefs/direction to the internal teams • Serve as key partner and mentor to the client. Articulate agency practices, listen strategically, and upsell and support growth based on needs • Support intake and new business growth as needed • Build, lead and present client presentations, strategies and concepts with a strong social and cultural lens, ensuring ideas feel native to each platform and resonate with sports and entertainment audiences • Ensure project alignment by defining roles and aligning with internal key team members to kick off projects • Oversee client paperwork (service agreements, SOWs, invoices, etc.) • Conduct quarterly planning and review sessions with key clients/accounts with a focus on performance insights, cultural trends, and platform innovation opportunities • Develop and maintain annual, quarterly and monthly revenue forecasts; track and maintain growth and status QUALIFICATIONS • 5-8 years of relevant experience, including client service at a creative agency and possibly brand marketing experience at large consumer brands • Fluency in social media marketing (organic and paid), with experience managing social-first campaigns that tap into cultural moments, professional sports, and platform trends • Experience working with global client teams and partner agency teams • Entrepreneurial spirit. Thrive in uncertainty and ambiguously-defined roles. Passion for trying new things, jumping into new platforms, and leveraging sports and entertainment to drive engagement • Proven experience generating revenue and account growth within existing accounts • Strong writing and communication skills • Self-motivated, eager to learn, a drive to succeed • Excellent communicator, skilled writer, extremely organized, professional demeanor • Ability to contribute in both a strategic and tactical capacity • Proven ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and team members • Builds respect by personal example; is respected by and works effectively with all members of the organization and external contacts • Intense desire to excel in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment • Ability to work with top-level executives • Demonstrate initiative; is proactive • Spreads joy BASE SALARY RANGE Our estimated range for this role is $90,000-110,000* • Don't let this range drive your decision to apply. Actual compensation packages are based on the level of skill and experience each candidate brings to their role. Similarly, there might also be a more senior or junior position available, that would be a better fit with your expertise. For example, a person may apply for a Senior Creative Producer role, and we may assess that their skills are at the Creative Producer level. Each level has its own compensation range.
