Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a large account base in the food service, institutional, and industrial markets. Your main goal will be to identify new sales opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and provide exceptional customer service while meeting monthly sales targets. Key Responsibilities: • Present a professional and polished image at all times, representing the company with integrity and respect. • Develop and manage a large account base within the food service, institutional, and industrial sectors. • Identify potential accounts through research and outreach; solicit new clients and build rapport through proactive communication. • Provide clients with detailed product information and technical explanations; prepare quotes and offer special pricing when applicable. • Ensure customers receive optimal service by answering inquiries about products and services, providing clear solutions, and handling emergency deliveries when needed. • Keep up-to-date with the latest product developments by studying product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities. • Create and monitor quotes and special prices in the company’s computer system. • Take ownership of overdue accounts and assist with collections as required. • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team goals. • Attend sales meetings and seminars to stay informed and continue professional development. • Adhere to and follow all ISO procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and documentation requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Janitorial & Sanitation product industry (preferred). • Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, dispensing systems for towel & tissue, and food and restaurant supplies. • Proven track record as a successful sales representative. • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to unique sales strategies and confidently apply them. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear and effective solutions. • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. • Fluency in additional languages is a significant asset. • Post-secondary education is preferred. • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
