MotivHealth is a growing health insurance and third party benefit administration company that takes an innovative approach to creating and administering customized insurance plans that lower the cost of providing benefits, while increasing access to high quality healthcare. We are seeking an Account Manager who is in the Salt Lake City area, with experience in level-funded and self-funded health insurance plans and third-party benefit administration (TPA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing strategic employer relationships, driving client satisfaction, and ensuring the successful execution of customized benefit solutions. This role requires an expert who can bridge consultative sales, client relationship management, and operational oversight within the healthcare benefits space. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE: • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned self-funded employer groups and broker partners. • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders. • Act as a trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance on benefit plan performance and cost-containment opportunities. • Oversee the administration of self-funded plans, ensuring compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and other regulatory requirements. • Analyze claims data, utilization trends, and reporting to develop actionable recommendations for clients. • Collaborate with underwriting, clinical, and compliance teams to optimize plan design and manage risk for client renewals. • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products and services. • Support the development and delivery of client presentations to secure new business and retain existing accounts. • Partner with broker networks to enhance market reach and generate growth. • Drive annual plan reviews and renewal processes, ensuring proactive preparation and timely execution. • Lead client strategy meetings, presenting financial reports, trend analyses, and innovative cost-saving solutions. • Maintain accountability for client satisfaction scores and retention metrics.
