Order Picker function is an entry-level position within the Operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for picking customer orders and internal material transfers in accordance with client's established procedures, work instructions and customer specific requirements. Essential Job Functions: • Promote a positive working environment based on team dynamics, mutual respect and adherence to the organization's stated principles and values • Pick customer orders, of all types, accurately, and in a timely manner • Determine if orders area able to ship via the manner indicated on the picking ticket and take the necessary actions to resolve incompatible shipping methods • Provide picked orders to the shipping team/ will call support for outbound processing • Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility • Additional job duties and responsibilities may be added at any time Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required: • The warehouse pickers must be able to operate a stand-up forklift operation. • The warehouse pickers must be able to operate a standard forklift • The warehouse pickers are required to be able to lift up to 50lbs. • The warehouse pickers must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead • The warehouse pickers must be able to work under deadline pressure as organization skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders. • Experience using a handheld scanner • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum Experience required: 1 year warehouse experience. • Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills. • Customer Service skills a plus Shift: 7am - 4pm M-F Pay rate: $17+ DOE #MCTA1
