Technical Project Manager Duration: 3 Month Contract (Possible extension) Location: 100% Remote (Client located in Maryland, CA area) Max Pay Rate: $60/Hr. (W-2) • Must be able to work PST hours • Must be able to work on W-2 basis Job Description Come join a leading global retail company that focusing on growth and utilizing the latest technologies in the market. The Team is responsible for identifying emerging technologies, fostering creativity, and transforming innovative ideas into practical solutions that support the organizations strategic goals in service to our brands. In this role, you will function as a Technical Project Manager, leading a key technology innovation initiative to enable the delivery of a new capabilities while coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring successful end-to-end implementation. Project & Program Delivery • Lead end-to-end delivery of a technology initiative from concept through implementation. • Oversee cross-functional stakeholders and business partners to ensure aligned planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic initiative(s). • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies. • Drive execution across multiple workstreams while managing scope, schedule, and resources. • Ensure the project meets technical, security, compliance, and operational requirements. • Provide a high level of support to internal company stores employees. • Guide teams through the installation process and validate successful completion of the project. • Serve as the primary point of coordination between Engineering, Product, Network, InfoSec, Architecture, and Business teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or procedural issues, using available tools and processes. • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies. • Ensure appropriate documentation, governance, and approvals are completed throughout the project lifecycle. • Support incident, escalation, and post-implementation review processes. Skill Requirements • 5+ years of experience managing complex technical or infrastructure projects with retail experience a plus but not required. • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in large, matrixed organizations. • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, dependencies, and competing priorities. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. • Proficient within the Microsoft suite of tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira) • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong technical aptitude, passion, and desire to learn more. • Strong customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to stay customer-focused while working with retail technologies. • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and procedural issues. • Dependable, self-motivated, and drive to excel; exhibit a growth mindset for performance-based feedback. Additional information: • This is a remote role, and the contractor must have their own reliable, high-speed internet and distraction free workspace. • Mandatory training is required for this role; missing a day of training can result in termination of role. Paid training will take place for 4 weeks.
