A large, nationally recognized healthcare technology organization is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join their growing team. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with enterprise-scale applications supporting key claims management and payment integrity initiatives. You’ll play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and maintaining database-driven and full stack software components deployed in the product suite — all from the comfort of your home. Required Skills & Experience • Strong Full Stack Software Engineering experience with: UI frameworks such as Angular and React • Backend development using Java and Spring Boot to build enterprise-level applications on OpenShift • Knowledge of Vert.x, Apache Jena/RDF, AWS, and Oracle OCI is a plus • Proficiency working with large datasets • Strong experience with relational databases, ETL processes, and optimization/tuning of SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design • Experience with MS Access and scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell) What You Will Be Doing • Support and enhance high-quality software modules within enterprise product applications. • Analyze and resolve software-related issues originating from internal or external customers. • Document specifications, design, features, and operations of applications prior to production rollout. • Execute solution enhancements to improve performance and availability. • Communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner.
