Full Description

Senior DevOps Engineer We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our production environment and core infrastructure strategy. This role is responsible for maintaining production stability, driving automation initiatives, and partnering closely with R and D teams to support scalable, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate brings strong operational judgment, hands on infrastructure expertise, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. The company is located in New York, NY and will be a hybrid model of 3 days onsite a week. What You Will Be Doing: • Own and manage the production environment with a strong focus on reliability, security, and performance • Collaborate cross functionally with engineering teams to support application delivery and infrastructure needs • Design and implement best practice CI CD pipelines, particularly for microservices based architectures • Analyze system requirements and contribute to the design and development of new platform capabilities • Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters • Build, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure and supporting systems Required Skills & Experience: • Minimum 6 years of DevOps experience with deep infrastructure knowledge • At least 4 years of hands on AWS experience including RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudWatch and core infrastructure services • Minimum 3 years of practical Kubernetes experience, specifically EKS required. Experience with Calico or Istio is a plus • Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as Keda, Robusta, ArgoCD, Vault or other secret management solutions, service mesh, and blue green or canary deployments • Strong background in networking fundamentals including Linux, firewalls, DNS, and CDN technologies • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible • Experience with monitoring and observability tools including ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or Datadog • Database knowledge including SQL and RDS • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Shell, Groovy, PHP, or JavaScript Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.
