Our client, an electric vehicle manufacturer, is actively looking for a Parts Analyst to join their team! This role is 100% remote however candidates must be able to work EST or CST hours. • **This is a 3 month initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert dependent on performance & business needs*** This role supports the company's Maintenance, Repairs, and Operations (MRO) department by optimizing the inventory of critical spare parts for manufacturing equipment. The overall goal is to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness through data driven analysis and technical expertise. Responsibilities • Identify and categorize critical spare parts • Establish a data-driven ordering strategy that balances cost & operational readiness • Develop & maintain a robust tracking system for spare parts inventory • Analyze historical data on equipment wear and failure, considering factors like supplier lead times and part history (collaborate closely with engineering& maintenance teams to determine part criticality) • Quickly integrate into a new equipment delivery project that is currently behind schedule to prevent further delays • Utilize Google-based applications (Sheets, Docs), Excel, and JIRA to track progress and generate reports on spare parts status and recommendations Required Skills & Experience • Strong background in engineering or maintenance & tracking/inventory • Experience with reporting, dashboards, and/or tracking sheets • Experience working with all Google-based applications, Excel, and Jira
