Full Description

A client in Philadelphia is seeking someone to work onsite once a week for a Cloud Network Engineer. This is a full-time, contract opportunity supporting complex, enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid networks. You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and supporting cloud networking infrastructure including F5 LTM/GTM, firewalls, wireless solutions, and cloud-based networking platforms. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in network engineering (enterprise or cloud environment) • Hands-on experience with F5 LTM and GTM (configuration, troubleshooting, optimization) • Strong knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower) • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Expertise in routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) • Strong wireless experience (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent) Desired Skills & Experience • Certifications: F5-CA, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty, CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE • Scripting/automation with Python, Terraform, or Ansible • Experience with SD-WAN • Deep understanding of load balancing strategies and global traffic distribution • Familiarity with NAC solutions (ISE, ClearPass) What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown • 30% F5 LTM/GTM • 25% Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.) • 20% Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure) • 15% Wireless • 10% Automation & Scripting Daily Responsibilities • 70% Hands On • 20% Design and Architecture • 10% Team Collaboration The Offer • Bonus eligible You Will Receive The Following Benefits • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Vacation Time • Stock Options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
