The company is a payment processing solutions company that is hiring a Systems Engineer to support their enterprise systems infrastructure. Looking for someone who has both Windows and Linux experience, as well as VMware, storage, basic networking, and disaster recovery. Some must have skills would be terraform, ansible, cloud, and strong communication and collaboration skills. This is a full time, fully remote role that requires you to be in either EST or CST This is a unique opportunity to help build and lead a modern Technical Operations (TechOps) function responsible for enabling large-scale growth, stability, and strategic innovation within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ YOE • Linux Heavy • 80% infrastructure: supporting physical infrastructure (on-prem, data centers, bare metal servers) • 20% orchestration automation What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown • VMware • Ansible • Terraform • Bash/Powershell/Python Daily Responsibilities • Ensure 24/7 availability, performance, and health of systems infrastructure, targeting 99.999% uptime. • Evaluate, test, and deploy systems and tools to solve a wide variety of technical problems aligned with business goals. • Participate in ongoing efforts around automation and infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python). • Architect, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
