EverCommerce is a publicly traded SaaS company that powers over 745,000 service-based businesses globally with software solutions across healthcare, home services, and wellness looking for a Lead Software Engineer in Chicago, IL. Their EverHealth division supports 72,000+ healthcare practices through a suite of products focused on EHR, patient engagement, clearinghouse services, and revenue cycle management. The company is making a significant investment in AI-powered healthcare workflows and automation. You’d get the opportunity to join an organization with the resources and stability of an established company while working on a highly entrepreneurial initiative building new products from the ground up. This is hands-on, focused on building AI-powered workflow software for healthcare billing teams. The position combines full-stack engineering, product ownership, event-driven systems, and AI-agent orchestration. Their ideal candidate already has strong software engineering fundamentals (experience with Python, JavaScript, AWS, SQL, and building AI agents or workflows) along with a product mindset, healthcare RCM experience, and a willingness to challenge assumptions and help define what should be built, not just how to build it.
