Missle Tracking Systems Engineer Scottsdale, AZ Pay Estimated: $87.87-$92.87/Hour Active Secret Clearance Required to Start Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains. Responsibilities: • Perform systems engineering activities including requirements decomposition, architecture development, interface definition, and system behavior modeling • Design and develop complex algorithm-based solutions to support missile tracking missions • Develop logic for satellite scheduling, tasking, and payload coordination (pre-planned and dynamic/ad-hoc) • Perform analysis and sensor data fusion of satellite-derived missile tracking data for ground processing and rapid dissemination • Support integration, test, deployment, and sustainment of ground entry points, operations centers, and enterprise test infrastructure • Contribute to system evolution, expansion, and operational site support within a mission-critical environment Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or STEM field OR Master's degree plus 6 years of related experience • Active Secret DoD security clearance required at time of hire • 15+ years of recent experience designing and developing complex algorithm-based systems • 10+ years of recent experience developing and tuning algorithms for mission-specific parameters • 8+ years of job-related systems engineering experience • Core Technical Skills: • Systems architecture and requirements decomposition • Algorithm development and performance optimization • Satellite operations and payload scheduling • Missile tracking data analysis • Sensor data fusion Preferred Qualifications: • Missile tracking systems architecture and design • Sensor fusion techniques • Satellite mission planning and tasking logic • Cloud technologies and distributed system deployment • Image processing (collection, storage, analysis) • Agile development environments Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect • Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications. • Accepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
