Role Overview: As an Energy Storage Project Manager I at Mortenson, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering energy storage projects from inception through completion. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality execution while adapting to the dynamic energy sector environment. What You'll Do: - You will lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for energy storage projects. - You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met. - You will manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financial status. - You will identify and mitigate project risks proactively. - You will maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders. - You will ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. - You will support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery. - You will prepare and present project status reports to senior management. What You Bring: - You bring 3+ years of project management experience in the energy storage or renewable energy sector. - You have a strong understanding of energy storage technologies and construction processes. - You possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - You have proven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively. - You demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. - You are proficient with project management software and tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with utility-scale energy storage projects. - PMP or equivalent project management certification. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the energy sector. - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
