Role Overview: As a Senior Scheduler I within our Data Center Structured Cabling Group, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing project schedules. You will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure timely delivery of complex data center cabling projects, adapting to dynamic environments with flexibility and resourcefulness. What You'll Do: - You will develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for data center structured cabling initiatives. - You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to gather scheduling inputs and resolve conflicts. - You will monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, proposing mitigation strategies. - You will prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts to stakeholders at various levels. - You will ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in scheduling. - You will support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing scheduling processes and recommending enhancements. - You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. - You will facilitate communication between teams to promote transparency and alignment on project timelines. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or structured cabling environments. - Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools. - Strong understanding of construction processes and data center infrastructure. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams. - Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions under pressure. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Lean construction principles or other project management methodologies. - Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP). - Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and related technologies. - Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
