Role Overview: As a Senior Scheduler I within our Data Center Structured Cabling Group, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to dynamic project needs, and provide proactive scheduling solutions in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for data center structured cabling projects. - You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to gather scheduling inputs and resolve conflicts. - You will monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, recommending corrective actions. - You will prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts to stakeholders at various levels. - You will ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements in all scheduling activities. - You will support resource allocation and logistics planning to optimize project workflows. - You will facilitate communication between teams to maintain alignment on project timelines. - You will continuously improve scheduling processes and tools to enhance efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in construction or data center environments. - Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. - Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and data center construction processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Lean construction principles or other project management methodologies. - Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP). - Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and integrated project delivery. - Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech construction environment.
