Role Overview: As a Senior Scheduler I in our Data Center Structured Cabling Group, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to dynamic project needs, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for data center structured cabling projects. - You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to gather scheduling inputs and resolve conflicts. - You will monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, proposing mitigation strategies. - You will prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts to stakeholders. - You will ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements in scheduling practices. - You will support resource allocation planning and assist in project planning meetings. - You will utilize scheduling software tools to analyze and optimize project timelines. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the scheduling team. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in construction or data center environments. - Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and data center construction processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working specifically with data center structured cabling projects. - Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP). - Knowledge of Lean construction principles or other process improvement methodologies. - Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
