Role Overview: As a Senior Scheduler I within our Data Center Structured Cabling Group, you will play a critical role in managing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapt to dynamic project requirements, and provide proactive solutions to scheduling challenges in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for data center structured cabling projects. - You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to gather scheduling inputs and ensure alignment. - You will monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, recommending corrective actions. - You will prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts to stakeholders at various levels. - You will facilitate scheduling meetings and communicate changes effectively to all team members. - You will utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize project timelines and resource allocation. - You will support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing scheduling processes and suggesting enhancements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within construction or data center environments. - Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and data center construction processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working specifically with data center structured cabling projects. - Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP). - Knowledge of Lean construction principles or other process improvement methodologies. - Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and integrated project delivery methods.
