Role Overview: As a Senior Scheduler I within our Data Center Structured Cabling Group, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing project schedules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of complex data center cabling projects, adapting to changing priorities and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for data center structured cabling initiatives. - You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to gather scheduling inputs and resolve conflicts. - You will monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, proposing mitigation strategies. - You will prepare and present schedule reports and forecasts to stakeholders at various levels. - You will ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in scheduling. - You will support resource allocation and workflow optimization to enhance project efficiency. - You will facilitate communication between teams to promote transparency and alignment on project timelines. - You will continuously improve scheduling processes and tools to adapt to evolving project needs. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within construction or data center environments. - Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools. - Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and data center construction processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working specifically with data center structured cabling projects. - Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP). - Familiarity with Lean construction principles or Agile project management methodologies. - Knowledge of construction safety standards and compliance requirements.
