Role Overview: As the Data Center Structured Cabling-Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for structured cabling and low voltage systems within data center projects. You will lead quality management efforts, oversee documentation, and drive corrective and preventive actions to maintain project excellence. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage the quality system for one or more significant data center projects. - You will document, monitor, and analyze quality processes and outcomes to ensure compliance with industry standards. - You will identify and lead corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues promptly. - You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain quality standards. - You will conduct regular audits and inspections of structured cabling and low voltage installations. - You will develop and implement quality control plans tailored to project requirements. - You will provide training and guidance to team members on quality procedures and best practices. - You will report on quality metrics and progress to senior management. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within data center structured cabling or low voltage systems. - Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to structured cabling and low voltage installations. - Proven ability to lead quality assurance processes and corrective action initiatives. - Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and leadership abilities to work effectively with diverse teams. - Proficiency with quality management software and tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management certifications. - Background in electrical or telecommunications engineering. - Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems. - Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
