Role Overview: As a Project Engineer I on the Data Center Structured Cabling Team, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving field coordination issues to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise will support the team in delivering high-quality structured cabling solutions for data center projects. What You'll Do: - You will review and analyze project plans and field conditions to identify potential coordination issues. - You will collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to resolve field coordination challenges. - You will manage documentation and communication related to structured cabling projects. - You will assist in scheduling and coordinating installation activities to meet project timelines. - You will support quality control efforts to ensure compliance with industry standards. - You will participate in project meetings and provide technical input to improve project outcomes. - You will track project progress and report on key metrics to project management. What You Bring: - You bring 2+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in data center structured cabling or related fields. - You have strong knowledge of structured cabling systems and industry standards. - You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. - You are proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - You have a detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with data center construction projects. - Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software. - Certifications related to structured cabling or project management (e.g., PMP, BICSI). - Knowledge of electrical and network infrastructure.
