Role Overview: As a Construction Innovation Engineer within our Solar Operating Group, you will play a critical role in advancing solar industrialization by identifying, evaluating, and implementing cutting-edge technologies and processes. Your work will support business improvement and operational excellence across solar construction projects. What You'll Do: - You will evaluate new technologies, products, and construction processes to enhance solar project efficiency and quality. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and scale innovative solutions. - You will analyze data and project outcomes to measure the impact of implemented innovations. - You will communicate successes and lessons learned to stakeholders at all levels. - You will support the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for solar construction. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in solar and construction innovation. - You will assist in training and mentoring team members on new tools and methodologies. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive cost savings and schedule improvements. What You Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction engineering or innovation roles, preferably in solar or renewable energy sectors. - Strong understanding of solar construction processes and industrialization techniques. - Proficiency in data analysis and project management tools. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Lean Construction or Six Sigma methodologies. - Familiarity with emerging solar technologies and energy storage systems. - Advanced degree or certifications related to construction innovation or renewable energy. - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
