PRIME BROKERAGE AND SECURITIES FINANCING TECHNOLOGY We provide the technology that supports the core Prime Brokerage functions (custody, client service, reporting, cap intro, sales, finance), the trading and post trade processing of Securities Finance Transactions (SFTs), as well as collateral posting and optimization. Roles and Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join the Securities Lending Technology department. The team is a global team with members in New York, London, Budapest, Glasgow, Bangalore, and Hong Kong. The development team is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications using Java, Scala and Angular. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire SDLC, have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business. They will need to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams. They will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production. In addition to implementing new functionality, they will use their experience in TDD and best practices to identify process gaps or areas for improvement with a constant focus on scalability and stability. Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across with different teams and applications. Further the candidate will need to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams. Required Skills: • 1-5 years of experience in developing application using Java/Scala technologies • Should have hands on experience on spring • Should have experience in test tools like Junit, jbehave, cucumber, concordion, etc. • Knowledge of RDBMS database like DB2. • Working knowledge of bitbucket, git, Jenkins, Unix • Good to have experience in using Typescript, JavaScript and Angular • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high-quality deliverables • Good communication skills and experience working with global teams Desired Skills: • Experience in Financing Industry, preferably in Equity / Prime Brokerage / Equity Swaps / Securities Lending, etc. • Experience with Scala • Agile Methodology • Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player • Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide • Deliverables within prompt timeframes.
