The salary range above represents this position’s earning potential. The anticipated hiring range for this position will be $70,556 to $91,361, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This is a term position funded through 7/1/2026. Continued employment beyond this date is subject to funding extension and is not guaranteed. The Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for delivery of the County’s public health and human services that meets the needs of our community’s most vulnerable children, adults and seniors. The Department provides services through more than 120 programs at more than 20 locations. With over 2,000 employees, the Department of Health and Human Services is the largest County Department. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Local Behavioral Health Authority is responsible for the planning, management, and oversight of Public Behavioral Health services within Montgomery County. We are currently recruiting for an experienced data analyst to join the Hub Team within the LBHA. The Performance Management and Data Analyst I will evaluate the data needs of the Hub and make recommendations for a sustainable data and outcome reporting protocol. • Develop and prepare a data plan to prioritize goals, objectives, and strategies of services and programs that will effectively address the current and future needs of students and their families • Assist in the collection of data from community feedback regarding current needs of students and families and what services are needed • Analyze current behavioral health trends among youth in Montgomery County • Participate in meetings with service providers and stakeholders and present current data • Actively collaborate with the Hub Team and LBHA and attend required meetings • Prepare and present data reports and complete required deliverables by deadlines Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience performing data analysis, data visualization and interpretation, program evaluation and/or process improvement in an academic, data administration or business data analytics environment. Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering or related field. Equivalency: (1) An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. (2) Possession of a graduate degree in the above fields may be substituted for one year of the required experience There are preferred criteria for this position. We will use interview preference criteria: • Master's degree in Healthcare Data Analytics or equivalent • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills • Familiarity with Power BI and experience with SAS and ArcGIS Pro • Experience with data collection and analysis for grant funded deliverables • Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive repository systems for collecting and system of care resources.
