What You'll Be Doing • The Program Manager II is a member of the management team that oversees and supports several Latino Health Initiative (LHI) public health programs/activities; works closely with community partners, and supervises the staff assigned to various projects. • Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead and participate in strategic planning, implementation and evaluation in support of the Latino Health Initiative. • Provide technical expertise in the areas of workforce, curriculum development and training implementation. • Provide support to LHI staff to achieve deliverables and performance goals. • Review and develop reports related to the processes, key performance indicators, and quality assurance. • Provide budget management and fiscal control with adherence to procurement regulations and County policies and procedures. • Lead the development of grant proposals for funding current, new, or expanded programs. • Develop and maintain collaborations with programs, departments and agencies across Health and Human Services and within Montgomery County government to ensure coordinated services across community partners. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with County officials, community-based organizations, and private and public stakeholders. • Provide briefings to Montgomery County, internal and external partners and representatives as needed. • Serve as spokesperson for media interviews and provide presentations at other public/professional forums, as needed. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Experience: through five (5) years of professional experience in workforce and curriculum development and training. Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree. Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
