Director of Innovation Marketing Location: Remote / Hybrid Type: Full-time About the Role We’re looking for a senior marketing leader to build and scale our brand while owning a modern, full-funnel demand engine. This role sits at the intersection of brand, growth, and execution—defining how we show up in the market and turning attention into measurable demand. You’ll own identity, positioning, and narrative, while also driving acquisition through organic, earned, influencer, and paid channels. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, moves fast with AI-native tools, and knows how to convert momentum into growth. What You’ll Do Brand, Identity & Positioning Define and evolve brand identity, voice, and visual system Lead market and product positioning across consumer and partner audiences Translate product value into clear, differentiated messaging Ensure consistency across all channels, campaigns, and touchpoints Demand Generation & Capture Design and own a full-funnel demand engine across organic, earned, influencer, and paid media Build systems to capture and convert demand generated by PR and influencer campaigns Partner with paid media and lifecycle to amplify high-performing earned and creator content Define success metrics and attribution models for non-paid channels Influencer, PR & Earned Media Own influencer and creator marketing strategy end-to-end, from partner selection to performance measurement Lead PR and earned media efforts, including narrative development, press relationships, and launch moments Turn earned attention into measurable outcomes through landing pages, retargeting, and lifecycle flows Channel Execution & Optimization Own website, CMS, and landing page strategy, including conversion optimization and experimentation Lead paid media strategy across platforms such as Google and Meta/Facebook Run continuous testing across messaging, creative, audiences, and conversion paths Ensure tight alignment between brand, campaigns, and performance marketing AI-Native Marketing Use AI tools to accelerate research, content creation, creative iteration, and performance analysis Build AI-assisted workflows to increase speed, efficiency, and learning across channels Stay current on emerging tools and techniques that meaningfully improve marketing outcomes Analytics, Experimentation & Growth Own funnel performance from awareness through conversion Use data and insights to prioritize initiatives and allocate spend Establish a culture of testing, learning, and iteration Report on impact using clear, actionable metrics Leadership & Collaboration Act as a senior cross-functional partner to product, partnerships, and leadership Help define what great marketing looks like at an early-stage company Build scalable processes and, over time, a high-performing marketing team What We’re Looking For 7–12+ years of marketing experience with senior ownership of brand and demand Proven track record building or evolving a brand (identity, positioning, narrative) Hands-on expertise across: CMS and website management Paid media platforms (Google, Meta/Facebook, etc.) Landing page strategy and conversion optimization Demonstrated success using influencer, PR, or earned media as demand drivers Strong analytical mindset with comfort owning funnel metrics and attribution AI-native approach to marketing execution and experimentation Startup experience or strong comfort operating in ambiguity with high ownership Nice to Have Experience at an early-stage or fast-scaling startup Background in consumer tech, fintech, proptech, or marketplaces Experience marketing AI-powered or technically complex products Experience supporting B2C and B2B2C growth models Why This Role Matters You’ll define how the company shows up in the world You’ll own both brand and DTC demand - not just one or the other You’ll have the autonomy and responsibility to build a modern marketing engine from the ground up
